K-FLEX is pleased to announce the start of FRONTSH1P.


FRONTSH1P is part of the call "Building a low-carbon, climate resilient future: Research and innovation in support of the European Green Deal (H2020-LC-GD-2020)" which is part of the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme.


This call for proposals is a direct contribution to the European Commission’s European Green Deal Communication, which sets out the path for a fundamental transformation of Europe’s economies and societies. The call responds to the pressing need to confront the climate crisis and provide greater protection for the continent’s unique environment and biodiversity.


FRONTSH1P is a FRONTrunner approacTransition to a circular & resilient future: deployment of systemic solutions with the support of local clusters and the development of regional community-based innovation schemes.


FRONTSH1P aims at ensuring green and just transition of the Polish Łódzkie Region towards decarbonization and territorial regeneration through demonstration of highly replicable regenerative circular systemic models and solutions that address the current challenges and needs of the Region, transforming them into opportunities for economic growth, social inclusion, decarbonisation of systems of production and consumption, improvement of the quality of life for citizens, reconnection between the urban and rural context.


K-FLEX will be the Project coordinator. K-FLEX will take part to all WP’s and will be the WP6 leader in the CSS4 responsible for demonstration of main project achievements within K-FLEX plant and supporting the creation of a circular model with local stakeholders and replicating regions. This is in line with the strategic plan of the company and its efforts to become a (bio)circular economy champion in the region and beyond.
